Brand new, genuine Mercury Marine/Mercruiser Mercathode Kit. This is a factory original equipment item, not aftermarket.
This mercathode kit is designed to provide protection from galvonic corrosion on Mercruiser drive units. Anode/reference electrode unit mounts in place of zinc anode under the gimbal housing, eliminating the need to drill holes through the transom.
