Brand new, genuine Mercury Marine/Mercruiser High Altitude Reverse Gear. This is a factory original equipment item, not aftermarket.
Due to a loss of horsepower at high altitudes, a lower gear reduction (higher numerical ratio) will enhance performance. Used with 3 jaw reverse clutch. Pinion/forward gear ass'y. and seal or seal & bearing kit are also required. Fits Mercury/Mariner 100/115/125 hp. 2‑cycle outboard (USA 0B209468 and Newer, BEL 9523034) with 3 jaw reverse clutch.
