Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube is a synthetic blend gear oil that’s specifically designed and tested for marine applications. SAE 90 Gear Lube is manufactured to provide maximum protection for sterndrive and outboard lower unit gear cases. It is recommended for use in extreme conditions including high-speed and high-horsepower applications to extend gear service life. This formula helps prevent failures due to water infiltration in the gear housing. In addition, specialized synthetic additives in the Quicksilver high Performance Gear Lube formula will protect the gears from abrasive metal-on-metal contact. This blend is extensively tested and shown to provide superior protection against corrosion and excessive gear wear.
