Brand new, genuine Mercury/Mercruiser 4000 Gen II concealed side panel mount remote control kit. This is a factory original equipment part, not aftermarket.

Replaces prior part number:

Panel Mount Remote Control-Gen II- Lock Bar Comes with 4 ft.(1.22 m) trim harness with the 3 pin Molex connector. All installations require a separate Ignition/Choke assembly and Throttle/Shift Cables to complete the installation. Power trim adapter harness included to convert 3 pin Molex connector to the traditional 3 blade Mercury connector. Neutral safety switch leads are 6.5 ft.(1.98 m) long and have bullet connectors on the ends. Lanyard switch leads also have bullet connectors on ends. Must use Gen II Throttle/Shift Cable design.

Must use Gen II Throttle/Shift Cable design. (883719A__ or 883720A__) When used with the Model Year 2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke cable family 896145A__ or 896146A__ must be used.

Fits: All current Mercury/Mariner outboards (with integral trim) and 1993 and newer Force outboards 40 hp and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with power trim). Ref 827270A42 A46 A48
